Krysalis Apothecary was formed from a genuine intention to offer self-care options to friends and family that were based on natural ingredients. Generations of ancestors used only that which was found in nature for all of their needs, and now we see synthetic options dominating everywhere you turn. Progress is a wonderful thing – I am truly grateful for the scientific breakthroughs that have extended our lifespans so greatly from those past generations – but nature provides such beautiful and bountiful options for self-care and our daily lives, why search elsewhere for them?

It would make no sense to offer products from the earth without considering what is good for the planet as well. Packaging is recycled, recyclable, compostable, or reused wherever possible. Single use plastics are avoided. The labels are eco-friendy. Care goes into selecting the people and companies that we work with, focus is on small businesses and building community – particularly with other people who care about the environment. AI is never used.

People, planet, product, then profits – the motto I live by. If you focus on the people you connect with, in a way that is the least harmful
(and maybe even beneficial) to the world, and build something of quality, then the abundance will come. Decades of corporate experience and a well-regarded business degree have taught me that is not the ethos most businesses run on, but my soul tells me it should be.
