Krysalis Apothecary leans into two things: self-care options using natural ingredients, and caring for the earth and her inhabitants.

We do not believe that these are separate ideals, but that they feed each other. We can care for ourselves and the environment simultaneously by using the best quality ingredients and by being conscious of how we affect the people, nature, and communities around us.

This means putting our money and energy towards those communities that we support and being careful not to align with those we do not.

There are many companies in this industry who give the appearance of being green and caring for the environment, and then you see they are using AI (which depletes water sources at an alarming rate on top of the morality issues), or contain ingredients from questionable sources. Everything at Krysalis is made by humans, which means it may not always be perfect, but how boring is perfection?

We try to make everything in the way that we would like to see more of. Our bottles are glass, sourced from small, local companies where possible, as much as we can our oils are sourced directly from the distillers for the highest quality and a knowledge of where the plants were grown and under which conditions, the labels are eco-friendly and compostable, photography are originals, art is hand drawn, oils are small batch creations, background is gathered from any companies we work with to make sure that they are not supporting the destruction of earth or her people.
